Swirled Amber Glass Vessel
Amber wrapped in a single ribbon of red, blown free by hand and left to swirl.
A rounded amber vessel laced with red glass threading that spirals around its body — an object with movement built into the surface, equally at home holding stems or standing alone.
Suitable for consoles, entrance shelves, dining vignettes, and quiet hospitality corners
Quick Facts
The Object
Beautiful in its own right, before any flowers.
Warm amber glass, blown free without a mould, then wrapped while still soft in a single thread of red that winds around the body and never quite repeats. The swirl is a record of the maker's hand — turning, pulling, letting the glass find its own line — so no two pieces carry the same rhythm. On a Dubai console, an entrance shelf, or the corner of a majlis, the amber glows honey in daylight and deepens to embers as the light drops, the red thread catching the eye like a brushstroke. Perfect for those seeking warmth and motion in a piece finished entirely by hand.
Material & Craft
Material, light, and placement.
Amber glass blown without a mould, then trailed with molten red threading while soft — a free-blown technique where the swirl is shaped by hand, so each vessel is unrepeatable.
The amber body glows warm and golden in daylight and deepens as the sun drops, while the red thread sits proud of the surface and catches the light as it turns.
Holds a loose gathering of stems or stands as a sculptural object on its own — a console, an entrance shelf, or a warm corner of a hospitality suite.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and keep the glass free of dust and harsh abrasives so the colour stays warm and the surface stays clear.
