The swirl is a record of the maker's hand — turning, pulling, letting the glass find its own line — so no two pieces carry the same rhythm. Amber glass blown without a mould, then trailed with molten red threading while soft — a free-blown technique where the swirl is shaped by hand, so each vessel is unrepeatable.
The amber body glows warm and golden in daylight and deepens as the sun drops, while the red thread sits proud of the surface and catches the light as it turns.
Holds a loose gathering of stems or stands as a sculptural object on its own — a console, an entrance shelf, or a warm corner of a hospitality suite.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and keep the glass free of dust and harsh abrasives so the colour stays warm and the surface stays clear.
