01 · The Brief

Design support and the fit-out material package for Pirelli's Shanghai headquarters — a brief that had to read as Italian engineering rather than corporate office, and absorb the brand's century of speed without becoming a museum.

02 · What we curated

SILU worked with the design team on shop drawings, installation drawings and junction details, and supplied the material package: principal stone, decorative metalwork, custom carpets and feature wall surfaces. The palette was held tight: charcoal, oxblood, brushed metal, and one warm timber. The material logic was kept crisp at every junction.

03 · The Detail

The reception desk's monolith — a single bookmatched dark stone, cut from a slab the design team had walked in person at the yard. We held the slab on hold for three weeks until the alignment of the veining was approved against the lobby axis.
