01 · The Brief

An interior commission in Shanghai for Emaar — Dubai's most recognisable developer — built around the question of how to bring the Emirates' confident hospitality language into a Chinese commercial address without flattening either. Pudong restraint over Marina theatre.

02 · What we curated

Across both flagship showrooms SILU worked alongside the design team — developing shop drawings, installation drawings and junction details — and supplied the material package: decorative stone and marble inlay, custom metal screens, bespoke carpets, feature lighting and furniture. Two cities, one brief, delivered in the same year.

03 · The Detail

The lobby floor — a book-matched marble inlay drawn from a single block, specified slab by slab. Three slabs were rejected and re-sourced before the final lay was approved.
