01 · The Brief
A flagship showroom in Beijing for one of Saudi Arabia's leading developers — built around the question of how to bring Gulf hospitality into an East Asian capital without softening either. The room had to read as assured the moment a Riyadh client stepped in, and as familiar to a Beijing visitor.
02 · What we curated
SILU supported the design team from drawing to site — shop drawings, installation drawings and junction details for the principal stone, marble mosaic, decorative metalwork and hand-tufted carpets — and supplied the full material package from SILU's partner workshops, delivered into Beijing on the project clock.
03 · The Detail
The reception's ceremonial wall — a hand-cut Carrara mosaic in a chevron pattern, refined over four sample rounds before specification. The seam line was recut on site after the first dry-lay to honour the client's preference for unbroken visual flow.
